Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) Recruitment 2013 for Professionals in UP

The Govt of UP has set up the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM), under the aegis of Vocational Education Department, to implement the Skill Development Policy of the state. The major mission of this initiative is to integrate efforts of various departments of the State and Central Government organizations engaged in providing skill development training and make available employment oriented and placement linked training in vocational skills to 45 lakh youth in the age group of 14 to 35 years by 2016 – 17.

UPSDM has been set up as a Society, with an independent Governing Council, headed by the Hon. Chief Minister as its Chairperson, and will have a professionally run State & District Program Management Units.

With the recent announcement, the UPSDM is planning to appoint Professionals at the cluster level. Each cluster will have several districts under its control and these professionals will be engaged in smooth implementation and monitoring of the programs at the cluster level.

The details of the recruitment procedure and essential eligibility are as follows:

  • Manager – Social Mobilization & Counseling: 01 Post
  • Manager – Training Partners’ Collaboration: 01 Post
  • Assistant Manager – Personnel & Administration: 01 Post
  • Assistant Manager – Course Design, Certification & Accreditation: 01 Post
  • Assistant Manager – Training Partners’ Collaboration: 02 Posts
  • Assistant Manager – Social Mobilization & Counseling: 01 Post

At the Sistrict Program Management Unit: Total 150 Positions

        

  • Counselor cum MIS Manager: 150 Positions

Pay Scale:

The candidates selected for the positions will receive a consolidated amount of salary per month till a period of 2 years (further extension on condition). There will be no other Allowances and Perks.

  • Manager – Social Mobilization & Counseling: Rs.50000 per month
  • Manager – Training Partners’ Collaboration: Rs.50000 per month
  • Assistant Manager – Personnel & Administration: Rs.30000 per month
  • Assistant Manager – Course Design, Certification & Accreditation: Rs.30000 per month
  • Assistant Manager – Training Partners’ Collaboration: Rs.30000 per month
  • Assistant Manager – Social Mobilization & Counseling: Rs.30000 per month
  • Counselor cum MIS Manager: Rs.30000 per month

Education Qualification:

  • Manager – Social Mobilization & Counseling: The candidate must have Graduation or Post-Graduation with MBA, PG–RD or MSW with at least 10 years of work experience in working in any large scale Rural Development Program, involving community mobilizing or counseling, of which at least 2 years should be working in a managerial position at the state level.
  • Manager – Training Partners’ Collaboration: The candidate must have Graduation or Post-Graduation with MBA, PGDM with at least 10 years of work experience in working in any skill development and placement sector, of which at least 2 years should be working in a managerial position at the state level.
  • Assistant Manager – Personnel & Administration: The candidate must have Graduation / Post-Graduation/ (MBA) will be given preference, with Knowledge of Computer DOEACC ‘O’ level or equivalent with at least 5 years of work experience in general administration or HR of which at least 2 years should be working at a managerial position at the district level or above.
  • Assistant Manager – Course Design, Certification & Accreditation: The candidate should be a Graduate/ Post-Graduate/ (MBA, PG–RD or MSW) will be given preference, with Knowledge of Computer DOEACC ‘O’ level or equivalent with at least 5 years of work experience in an educational institution/ skill development and placement sector and involved in course design/ certification or accreditation of which at least 2 years should be working at a managerial position at the district level.
  • Assistant Manager – Training Partners’ Collaboration: The candidate should be a Graduate/ Post-Graduate/ (MBA, PG–RD or MSW) will be given preference, with Knowledge of Computer DOEACC ‘O’ level or equivalent with at least 5 years of work experience in skill development and placement sector of which at least 2 years should be working at a managerial position at the district level.
  • Assistant Manager – Social Mobilization & Counseling: The candidate should be a Graduate/ Post-Graduate/ (MBA, PG–RD or MSW) will be given preference, with Knowledge of Computer DOEACC ‘O’ level or equivalent with at least 5 years of work experience in any large scale rural development program involving community mobilization or counseling of which at least 2 years should be working at a managerial position at the district level.
  • Counselor cum MIS Manager: The candidate should be a Graduate/ Post-Graduate/ (MBA, PG–RD or MSW) will be given preference, with Knowledge of Computer DOEACC ‘O’ level or equivalent with at least 5 years of work experience in any large scale rural development program involving community mobilization or counseling of which at least 2 years should be working at a managerial position at the district level.
  • The candidates should apply for any preferred cluster and this will not be changed after application is finally submitted.

Mode of Selection:

  • The modalities of selection of candidates may consist of academic qualifications, written test and interview. The final selection process will be made available on www.upgov.nic.in and www.sids.co.in/upsdm one week before the last date of application.
  • The selection will be done on a merit basis as per the discretion of UPSDM.
