Income tax department is associated with all the management required for regulating tax in the country. It looks after the timely submission of income tax by the residents and many other works are also performed by this department.
Income tax department, Pune Region has issued the notice for recruitment of Sportspersons in different games as Athletics, Badminton, Body Building (Men), Chess, Cricket (Men), Lawn Tennis (Men), Swimming, Table Tennis, and Volley Ball (Men) for the post of Tax Assistants and Multi-Tasking Staffs.
Nature of the Post:
The posts offered are purely temporary in nature for probation of 2 years but they are likely to be converted to permanent.
Total number of vacancies:
A total number of 14 vacancies (10 vacancies for Tax Assistants and 4 vacancies for Multi-Tasking Staffs) are available for recruitment.
Important Dates:
Last date for submission of applications: December 20, 2012 by 5.00 p.m.
Eligibility Criteria:
Tax assistants are required to possess a graduation degree from recognised university with a data entry speed of 8000 impressions per hour.
Multi tasking staff should be a matriculation pass candidate.
Age Limit:
Age limit for Tax Assistants is 18 years to 27 years and for multi tasking staff is 18 years to 25 years. Relaxation of 5 years is offered to OBC candidates and 10 years to SC/ ST candidates.
Pay Scale:
Tax assistants will be offered a pay scale of Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2400 and multi tasking staff will be offered Rs. Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20200 with grade pay of Rs. 1800.
Selection Process:
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in written test, proficiency test and interview.
Mode of Application:
